RF Test Engineer: Aethercomm

Aethercomm, Inc., a cutting edge RF amplifier design and manufacturing firm is seeking highly motivated RF Test Engineer. In this position you will provide test engineering support, including technical problem solving and knowledge of RF test equipment, working closely with the Power Amplifier design team. You will interpret customer specifications for generation and correction of testing procedures, and review test data for trends and inaccuracies. You'll also work to improve test methodology, design, and operation, and generate test reports for internal and external customers. Other responsibilities include selecting appropriate performance information from test data, generation of test failure reports based on out-of-compliance test data, and troubleshooting test equipment and testing methodology as needed.

Must have the ability to design and evaluate RF test measurements and microwave test instrumentation is necessary. Requires the ability to work in a fast-moving environment under tight schedules and coordinate multiple tasks effectively. Must be able to perform technical problem solving and work closely with production personnel. In-depth knowledge of RF test equipment operation, test automation, and test fixture designs is highly desirable. Must develop and coordinate internal and external resources to support Environmental, EMI, EMC, and Reliability testing of new and existing products. Strong Lab-View skills are essential.

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Must have at least three years of Engineering experience, including relevant RF test Engineering experience and a thorough background in microwave and electronics theory. Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary. US Citizenship required.
