Clinical Educator - Acute Care
Department: Education

Job Details:- ACLS
- BLS-C through AHA
- Valid CA RN license

Responsible for coordinating and supporting the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating hospital wide education. Supports management staff in ensuring that staff development activities are consistent with current education and accreditation standards. Responsible for developing in-service education programs and evaluating the effectiveness/outcomes. Oversees education related to new equipment, policies & procedures, and evaluates and prioritizes all educational requests in a timely manner.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles
Effective communication and training skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Bachelor's Degree Required
Master's Degree preferred
Two years recent educator experience
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Current CA RN License
Current BLS required (AHA)
BLS Status within 6 months of hire
Current ACLS and PALS/Instructor Status preferred
