Sr. CRA/CRA in-house, Successful Pharma, New Jersey

In a Nutshell: A highly successful and stable pharmaceutical company is looking to hire an in-house CRA at the Senior or Staff level to work on a high profile immunology biotech program. This is a wide-ranging clinical operation and project management position where you’ll have domestic and global responsibilities akin to what other companies would give their Project Managers, which makes this an excellent career development position. In addition, this company has a well-deserved reputation for promoting from within and people really enjoying it. This company is conveniently located in the Parsippany/Morristown metro area (which is within commuting distance of New York City (via bus too), the Tapanzee bridge, the Pennsylvania border, and the Bridgewater area).

Relocation: This company is one of few in New Jersey that will provide relocation assistance at this level.

Sponsorship: This company is one of the few companies in New Jersey that will consider candidates who desire/need Green Card sponsorship and/or H-1B extension.

Location: Morris County , NJ

  • Morris County is a very nice area of northern NJ located 45 minutes due west of New York City and is the home to numerous other pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Conveniently located for those living in Central or Northern NJ who have access to 287, convenient for those living in far west New Jersey, and convenient for those living east of Morris County along Routes 80, 280, or 78.

Compensation: Base compensation depends upon depth of relevant experience and will be competitive. Comp also includes a steady annual cash bonus, strong 401(k) plan, on-site gym, on-site cafeteria, and very attractively designed offices.

Responsibilities in a Nutshell:

  • Work on Phase II – IV global and domestic studies with key responsibilities including:
  • Assist with protocol development.
  • Investigator selection
  • Budgets and Contracts
  • Hiring and management of CROs and other vendors on global studies
  • Analyze and prepare study results for domestic and global regulatory submissions
  • CRF design and review
  • Coordinate with other members of the project team including data management, statistics, reg affairs, outsourcing, CROs, etc.
  • Presenting at Investigator Meetings
  • Light travel for things like investigator meetings. Field monitoring is conducted by the CROs the use.

Requirements in a Nutshell:

  • Bachelor’s required. An advanced scientific degree or a BSN/RN is a plus.
  • Title of “Senior” or “Staff” will depend upon type and depth of relevant industry experience.
  • Ideally a Staff-level CRA will have 2+ years of relevant experience for a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
  • Ideally a Senior CRA will have 5+ years of relevant experience for a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and a team-first attitude.
