General Summary: Assists the pharmacist in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy Technicians work only under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a Registered Pharmacist.
Required: Registered Technician with the State of Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
Preferred: Completion of approved technician training program or minimum 2 years experience in an institutional setting (such as unit secretary, nurses aide, medical aide, etc.). National Technician certification.
Shift: Rotating/Variable Shift.
