Job Description:
In this position, you will be an analyst in our Corporate Sales Operation organization supporting divisional and/or corporate sales teams with responsibilities for the analysis, development, performance reporting, compliance monitoring and trend analysis of customer contracts with divisional accounts, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and/or key accounts
Responsibilities:
· Support the business unit and/or corporate sales teams by providing pre-contract sensitivity analysis, including price and revenue modeling, profitability and revenue risk exposure, and manage pricing approval process via our contract management system and business unit guidelines
· Develop, interpret and disseminate contract specific performance reporting and trend analysis to the supported sales organizations in a timely manner, leveraging the reporting available through the contract management system and producing customized contract reporting as required
· Provide the business unit and/or corporate sales personnel with guidance as required on the strategic intent and parameters of the available sales programs and guidelines
· Support the sales organizations’ requirements in the development of RFP/contract responses, including customer facing material, and coordination of the contract document requirements
· Monitor and track contract compliance, provide the sales organizations with compliance reporting and conduct compliance analysis as required
· Manage rebate accruals, optimizing the ratio of contract accruals to settlements
· Provide account level and contract sales reporting to field sales organizations and external customers
· Utilize the contract management system tools and adhere to defined corporate sales operations processes, providing the sales management organization with the necessary information to make quality business decisions, optimize revenue and ensure post contract contracting reporting and compliance measurement
· Maintain a complete understanding of contract requirements to ensure all relevant contract administrative obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner
· Support the sales field teams and where required, provide direct customer interaction to insure effective contract execution
· Coordinate with other Contracting Operation employees to ensure effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle and consistent process execution
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies to work effectively in a sales organization. This candidate must be highly detailed oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have experience in leveraging IT solutions. The individual must also possess demonstrated influence management skills with the ability to manage field sales reporting demands. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Access and Excel, required. Experience with Cognos Powerplay, and contract management systems helpful. Past experience should include 3-5 years business experience. Focus in Accounting/Finance, Sales Operations, and/or Contract Management functions preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business related field required.
