Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Engineer to architect the building and extending of the distributed platform for providing services with high availability. If you've had experience building high-throughput, geographically distributed systems with very high availability and operational supportability, then we're looking for you! You will deliver complex projects in a fast paced environment with a focus on quality, supportability and scalability. This is a very large scale environment. The Contractor will have to first measure issues that our clients are facing and then work on performance optimization (come up with frameworks and tools; adding more hooks for Javascript, scripting more tools, and enhancing existing tools; work on actionable pieces and deliver user experience (technically); work and optimize for different browsers (Firefox, cross browser issues, and a lot of different browsers) more on client side able to measure and troubleshoot applications; existing tools flow, familiarity with tools using Javascript, HTML, a little PHP is always useful (all stuff is put together with PHP)
Skills: JavaScript, Networking, PHP, XHTML and HTML Additional Skills: General experience with performance tuning and optimizations
