The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company currently has four (4) openings for a Development Engineer - Senior at its corporate headquarters in Akron,
Ohio.

Primary Purpose of Position:
Insure a continuous stream of value added products and processes to our
strategic business units (SBUs).
Protect our good name by insuring the highest quality and intergrity of
our products.
Insure that the RD&E and Quality organizations operate as a single
coordinated team avoiding duplication.
Maximize the potential and contributions of all associates within the
organization.

Requirements:
Communication Skills
Willing to travel
Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering
Ability to utilize advanced scientific methodologies. Fundemental understanding of scientific principles.
Programming in Matlab, Visual Basics, Catia V5. Formuala SAE
Ability to adapt to new challenges.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Mechanics
Ability to form strong working relationships with Goodyear associates and customers
Tire development experience 3+yrs preferred
Tire manufacturing experience preferred
Formula SAE knowledge preferred |
