Current Need
Plans and conducts technical tasks associated with the implementation of McKesson solution sets working with clients and internal resources at the client site or remotely. Project manages the technical tasks associated with the implementation of the business solutions in complex environments assuring the timely and quality completion of the deliverables. Partners with clients in planning, executing technical tasks such as conversions, interfaces, integration, issue resolution, assessment of system environment readiness, and installation. Mentors and provides technical assistance to client and internal resources. May lead multiple technical projects simultaneously and is the main technical point of contact for a client. Provides recommendations on the process improvements related to implementation processes and leads the efforts to create improvements.
Required Experience:
1) Managing multiple complex technical projects at various stages of implementation
2) Working within several project teams and leading the technical aspects for each implementation
3) Working with CIO and director level customer counterparts to consult, set expectations and deliver in a professional and effective manner
4) Coordinating hardware delivery, preparation, installation, configuration, and validation
5) Providing timely technical support and being a point of escalation during various phases of the implementation
6) Experience training technical staff how to administer and maintain systems and applications
7) Hands-on and diverse technical background managing data driven applications
8) Developing methodology to improve implementation processes
9) Following up with and delivering project related documentation and feedback in a timely manner
10) Engaging across the business to understand and leverage new software products and capability

Required Skills:
1) Hands-on installation and configuration of Windows Server 2003
2) Hands-on installation and Configuration Microsoft SQL Server 2005
3) Hands-on configuration of multi-tier server and JBOSS server applications in a Windows 2003 Server and SQL Server 2005 environment
4) Hands-on PC configuration with the Windows operating system and configuration of peripheral devices
5) Solid understanding of networking to include TCPIP, LAN, WAN, Firewall Concepts, and Port level Communication.
6) Solid understanding of hierarchal storage systems and architecture
7) Solid understanding of virtualization and system consolidation

Minimum Requirements
5-8 years of implementation experience of information systems including 3-4 years of healthcare industry related experience.
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Mathematics or equivalent experience. Information Services Management degree may be preferred.
