Project Manager with CONSUMER ELECTRONICS experience (BOM, ECO, AGILE): Mainz Brady Group

Our Fremont client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Project Manager for a 12 month contract opportunity that is expected to convert after 12 months. The Senior Project Manager provides a service to the Project Leader, managing, leading & coordinating development of Retail configurations and their printed components for launch into Far East manufacture. Ensuring deliverables meet overall project objectives as defined by Project Plan

Ø Plan, schedule, prioritize and drive development activities and manufacturing introduction for new and/or enhanced printed components used in Retail product configurations.

Ø Ensure that the product components meet sales/marketing, engineering, quality and manufacturing requirements.

Ø Ensure that all Retail configurations and their printed components are localized to meet Regional Specific requirements as defined in the Product Requirements document for the project

Ø Responsible for creation and release of item part masters and BOMS for new products

Ø Ensure that project schedules are met, monitoring and tracking the progress, cost and performance against plan

Background/Training

Ø Project Management experience in high tech environment with cross functional team

Ø Team/Project meeting management skills.

Ø Ability to develop comprehensive project timelines using Microsoft Project

Ø Ability to communicate effectively using Lotus Notes Mail, using commonly accepted "E-Mail etiquette"

Ø Effective use of MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Lotus Notes database applications. Agile experience desired.

Ø Packaging background required as well as experience creating and releasing item part masters and BOMs for new products. Experience with ECOs highly desired as well.

Education:

BS, preferably in Engineering Field

5-7 years solid experience
