Job Description
The Patient Management Analyst’s role is to evaluate complex system needs of staff and operating departments, and support end users at various Managed Service Hospitals as related to the use of the HIM & Patient Management systems. This role is responsible for understanding customer needs, researching issues, designing and delivering quality resolutions. In addition, this position will provide ongoing application issue support.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate with user liaisons to assess departmental needs and objectives.
•Review documentation release by internal software developers and to keep apprised of changes and upcoming developments in software applications.
•Communicate software problems and issues to software development and support teams.
•Develops, tests, and modifies complex internal application systems.
•Designs complex systems, modules and/or approaches and required enhancements.
•Performs complex coding, reviewing, preparing test data, testing and debugging and implementing of system building.
•Performs complex program, system and user documentation for enhancements created.
•Performs complex analysis and troubleshooting for various business applications.
Position Requirements
•Bachelors degree required, preferred concentration in computer science, information systems, or direct working experience equivalent, in addition to 1-3 years minimum related work experience in hospital setting.
•Experience with INVISION Patient Management application and OAS Building tools preferred.
•Experience with EAD application, OAS Gold Builder tools and Adhoc reporting a plus.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude.
•Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
•Highly self motivated and directed.
•Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
