Intermediate Telecommunications Specialist
Minimum Requirements :
Associates degree in Computer Science and at least five years of experience with Intelligence Communications Systems and Integrated Software Applications. May supervise support personnel as required.

Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications;
organizational skills; ability to perform detail-oriented work; and excellent communication and network administration skills.

A working knowledge of Army enterprise computer systems and integrated software application programs is a plus.

Must possess a TS/SBI.

Job Description :
This position will provide Systems Administration and Network Support to USARPAC G2 OID INOC ISR requirements.

EG&G has an opening for an Intermediate Telecommunications Specialist, who will advise and assist the US Army in the installation, networking, monitoring and administration of Intelligence Communications Systems within the USARPAC G2 OID.

Additional essential responsibilities include:

Analyze requirements; review and coordinate with customers to generate documentation such as plans, schedules, briefings, reports, correspondence, technical instructions, technical procedures or related material.

Review, analyze, provide technical comments, and provide assessment of technical and non-technical program reports; research specific areas and prepare findings.

Maintain and establish a filing system for correspondence, equipment status reports, and other technical documentation for tracking and inventory control.

Implement hardware and software systems upgrades as directed.

Provide informal training in implementing software programs based on user requirements.

Assist in the preparation and production of technical reports, progress reports, data requirements and system constraints for technical presentations, meetings and customer briefings.
