Job Description Serves as computer systems and informatics resource for patient care staff, providing orientation, education and inservices. Determines clinical education needs based on Performance and Process Improvement findings. Coordinates computer systems and informatics education programs for clinical and other staff. Position reports to the Education Department.
Requirements Associates degree or equivalent. Certification with Microsoft Office Applications and at least 2 years of computer software training. Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) Certified, a plus. Knowledge of adult learning principles. Evidence of good communication skills and ability to work well one-to-one or in groups; good computer and organizational skills. Experience in dealing tactfully with a variety of people. Familiarity with commonly used technology and applications. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
