Cryptologic Instructional Designer
The National Security Agency's Associate Directorate of Education (ADET) has an immediate opening for an experienced, highly motivated Instructional Systems Design (ISD) expert. If selected, you will join the Cryptologic Learning Design Innovation Center, a dynamic new organization established to address high priority Cryptologic learning needs. You will use state-of-the-art techniques and technology to develop rapid learning solutions in support of just-in-time learning for thousands of military and civilian cryptologic personnel across the NSA/CSS Enterprise, the Cryptologic Training System and other DoD and IC components.
As a Cryptologic Instructional Systems Designer, you will work both internally and externally with mission customers, subject-matter experts and contractor staff to help rapidly develop and implement high quality learning solutions. Activities will include (but are not limited to):
Assessing customer training needs
Developing project plans and proposals
Defining training goals and objectives
Determining appropriate training delivery methods and evaluation/assessment strategies
Evaluating make-or-buy options
Developing learning solution content and modifying as needed
Developing on-the-job training (OJT) programs
Working with contractor staff to ensure timely delivery of high quality learning solutions
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an Undergraduate or Graduate degree with major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled plus 4 years of experience, or 8 years of experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. This includes using a variety of applications such as e-Class, e-Campus, Captivate, Dreamweaver, ACCORDENT and Flash. Project management expertise and experience in either the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense are preferred.

Sound judgment, an ability to prioritize tasks, critical thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Also key to success are the ability to work with a team and to consistently display a positive, proactive, and professional attitude toward fellow employees and external organizations.
