Manufacturing Engineer: The Albrecht Group

The Company

My client, a manufacturer of machined parts, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their facility located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, roughly 90 miles Southwest of Asheville, NC.

The Opportunity

The Manufacturing Engineer will essentially take specifications from customers and convert those specs into final products. The engineer must oversee each step of the process, and in some cases actually set-up and run first pieces. The multi-step process includes:

• Assisting with sales inquiries
• Converting customer prints into CAD drawings
• Detailing Quality Control plan
• Quoting costs and prices for parts
• Writing CNC programs
• Running programs
• Setting-up and running first pieces
• Oversee entire manufacturing process, including training employees in all aspects of their jobs

Requirements

• Five years experience in a machine shop environment
• Thorough experience in CNC programming
• Proficient in AutoCad
