As a member of the America's Channel Operations team you will be a key owner responsible for managing operational activities for Zune Originals. Zune Originals is truly the first "direct to consumer" channel for Microsoft and if you're passionate about developing an amazing customer experience this is the place to be.

The On-line Operations group is a new team that sits within the Americas Channel Operations Group. The On-line Operations group is initially responsible for the development of the supply chain back bone including e-commerce capabilities required to support Zune on-line consumer direct services. On an on-going basis the team will be responsible for partnering with the various E&D Business Groups to develop solutions that support on-line revenue generation opportunities. The focus of the group is to optimize cost and revenue in alignment with overall E&D strategies and got to market plans for businesses/products.

The scope of the role is to manage the Zune Originals on-line supply chain model from order receipt through to product delivery. The role involves close collaboration with the Zune Business Group, external vendors and internal supply chain colleagues.

Competencies should include:

· Strategic Thinking - should be able to articulate a 1-2 yr plan for their existing business responsibilities.

· Program Management - accountable for managing the implementation of complex cross functional projects. Master customer best practices to simplify the alignment between customers/vendors which results in increased efficiencies. Demonstrate the ability to persuade internal partners and external customers/vendors on the value of the project, which results in a superior customer/partner experience (CPE).

· Business Process Excellence - will be an advocate of end-to-end business process definition and will have examples.

· Communication skills - senior level presentations

Required Qualifications:

· 5+ years Retail On-line Operations experience

· MBA

· Program Management Experience

· Issue analysis and resolution

· able to drive cross-group collaboration

· Experienced in working with external partner groups

· Demonstrated results in a faced-paced dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

· PMP

· Experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, Process Design, or process re-engineering techniques
