
Responsibilities/Description: This position is responsible to provide the leadership to the Field crew and act as liaison between Dresser-Rand and the client. To provide the Field Services Installation, maintenance and repairs on all product lines and to assist in developing repeat business. Promote safety and a safe working environment Conduct mechanical overhauls and repairs of compressors, engines and other equipment Lead, direct and train Dresser-Rand Mechanics and or Temporary employees Work safely to adhere and uphold the safety rules of Dresser-Rand and the client, conduct on site safety meetings, record and report safety incidents and issues Report job progress and problems to the Project Manager or his designated supervisor on a regular and timely basis Responsible for the tooling on the job. Must complete tooling inventory upon completion of project Maintain good customer relations and promote Dresser-Rand products and services Report job, work, parts, equipment, and sales opportunities Prepare complete and concise daily job reports. Reports are to be submitted to supervisor on a weekly basis, if the job is ongoing, but no later than two days after the project is completed, unless otherwise authorized Submit accurate time sheets an expense reports on a timely basis as required
Qualifications: Required - Legal authorization to work in the US for any US employer
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic
- 10+ years minimum industry experience
- Mandatory membership in UBC
- Experience in Microsoft Office Package
- The willingness and ability to travel in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
