Under the direction of a Radiologist or the Department
Manager, performs radiographic procedures of a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative. May have individual responsiblility for specified procedures and/or may be assigned duties as an instructor. Current California Radiologic Technologist License. Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiological Technology training program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT. Two years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care hospital or proven ability to do CT scanning. Ability to manage own time and schedule own tasks. Must have initiative to work efficiently without constant supervision and directions. Ability to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate to the degree required to perform the job.
