Teller II
In this dynamic role as an experienced Teller, your primary responsibilities will include servicing customers by accepting and processing individual and commercial transactions with accuracy within policy guidelines (e.g. deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc.), identify sales opportunities, make referrals to the appropriate sales representative, and effectively cross-sell bank products and services; as well as assist in other areas of bank operations. Additionally, your responsibilities in the branch will include performing the following duties:
· Greet customers by displaying a friendly and courteous mood
· Proactively seek out and maintain basic knowledge of bank products and services
· Explain transaction policies and procedures to customers; solicits assistance from supervisory team as needed
· Perform daily branch operational balancing procedures (i.e. ATM, TT&L, Vault, etc)
· Actively participate in sales events
· Open new accounts and assists customers with account questions
· Meet minimum sales/referral goals provided by Retail Bank Management; reviewing these goals frequently to formulate a strategy(s) for meeting goals
We are seeking talented individuals with the following qualifications:
· High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
· At least six months of previous retail cash handling experience
· Minimum of two years customer service experience and/or training in a cash handling position; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Ability to use a PC and alpha/numeric keyboard
