Senior Systems Administrator

Qualifications:

· Extensive hands on experience in MS Active Directory

· In-depth knowledge of Group Policy

· Windows scripting for automation

· Extensive knowledge of MS Exchange

· Knowledge of SQL including systems troubleshooting, performance monitoring and log shipping

· Knowledge of VMWare and Vmotion

· Creating batch jobs/processes

· Management of backup systems including software products and tape libraries

· Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications

· 24X7 on call environment – when needed

· Knowledge of enterprise storage, NetApp, EMC, etc

· In-depth knowledge of server hardware and vendor platforms

· Wireless network deployment and configuration

· Ability to lift heavy items including monitors and servers

· Network security administration and configuration

· Software deployment and configuration support

· Ability to learn and support new applications

· Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, IIS and DHCP

· Knowledge of SCSI, RAID and print queue setup

· Use of imaging software including Ghost, System Recovery and others

· Maintain integrity of Company data and data systems

· Provide Tier II support for Help Desk Support

· Knowledge of VPN systems and configuration

Preferred Skills:

· 4+ years extensive Active Directory administration

· 4+ years Exchange administration

· 2+ years SQL experience

· 2+ years VMWare experience

· Strong knowledge of backup systems management

· 24 X 7 on-call support

· Knowledge of scripting

Position reports to IT Manager.
