Job Description Responsible for day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for operating systems, workstations and servers. Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems. Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Must possess experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware: mainframe, mini, or client/server based.
