| | Documentation Specialist | Minimum Requirements : Education: High School or equivalent Work Experience Field: Aegis Combat System and Naval Correspondence Manual experience with at least 5 years of experience **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance, current clearance preferred. Job Description : Position Description: Essential Job Functions: Serve as the primary Technical Writer for a variety of technical reports, progress reports, project plans, and naval messages. Communicate with Government personnel (i.e. Department Head, System Engineer, and Project Director) across a spectrum of codes to resolve real-time issues. Interface with Government personnel daily to initiate correspondence for Naval combat systems to be utilized in support of Fleet tactical operations and test events. Maintain excel spreadsheets for tracking and accounting purposes. Archive electronic documents on network share drive and maintain spreadsheet of documents stored in electronic library. Provide additional support as required to the WSPO Office. Must be able to produce various documents using Microsoft Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project. Other duties include: Support planning, preparation, and conduct of baseline certification/authorization meetings, as required.
