Substation Engineer, Senior Level

Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in our Substation Design Department in our Atlanta , Georgia office. A BSEE degree is required, a degree from an accredited university with a power option would be a plus and having a PE is preferred. 7-20+ years experience in utility substation design is preferred. The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communications skills. The ideal candidate will be able to perform detail design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations to include one-line diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, selection of substation equipment, writing of substation equipment specifications, construction cost estimates and project scheduling. This candidate would be responsible for acting as the project engineer for several projects and directing the work of younger engineers and drafters. Experience in 15 kV through 500 kV substation design preferred. Travel is required.
