Refrigeration Maintenance Technician: Icelandic USA, Inc

Monitors compressor's oil levels to ensure levels are appropriate for start-up.

Responsible for start-up of compressors and ensures that all functions of compressors are cleaned, maintained and available for operations.

Maintains all rooftop condensers.

Drains oil pots and changes oil in compressors as required.

Monitors and maintains all evaporators.

Operates and maintains chiller and water-jacket chillers for processed chilled water.

Operates and maintains all HVAC equipment.

Determines appropriate zones to be opened in freezers based on production schedules.

Records and maintains all referigeration records including reading for all compressors and temperatures in cold storage designated areas.

Inspects and maintains all fire extinguishers throughout the facility on a monthly schedule.

Tests all fire and ammonia detection alarm system(s).
