Enterprise Archtect:

Everware-CBDI is seeking an Enterprise Architect to work on various projects supporting our client located in the Washington, DC metro area. The ideal candidate will support our client’s Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB) by providing expert assessment of projects, proposals, EA alignment requests, technology or service insertions and the like with respect to their consistency with existing and planned systems or services.
The ideal candidate must be able to evaluate IT investment proposals/projects to determine if they are aligned with our client’s information sharing architecture which is a segment of the Enterprise Architecture maintained by the CIO. This will require familiarity with common Federal Enterprise Architecture concepts, terminology and procedures as well as some IT engineering knowledge. Some understanding of intelligence, law enforcement and operations programs, as well as some federal capital planning concepts is also desirable, as both technology and business issues are considered in alignment analyses. Ability to analyze detailed IT proposals (written and/or live presentations) and clear expository and persuasive writing (i.e., for drafting review findings and recommendations) is required. The work also includes assisting/advising sponsors of IT investment projects as they develop proposals that meet review standards, and advise them on the governance/review processes. Other skills that are needed include:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Architecture including business architecture, technical architecture, transition strategies, standards and reference models.
- Experience in developing and integrating systems within an architectural framework.
- Demonstrated IT knowledge, skills, expertise and analytical ability to analyze, evaluate, and engineer/architect business solutions and IT infrastructure.
Job Requirements:
- U. S. citizenship required
- Minimum of 9 years experience with Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
- CEA certification preferred, but not required

This position requires an active high-level security clearance
