We are currently seeking a Flash Development Supervisor. This role is responsible for managing junior flash development staff while developing superior quality code for their own brands. The Development Supervisor also acts as a resource internally on technical issues, research, and new business opportunities.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Creating a variety of multimedia projects (including websites, emails, banners, DVDs, etc.) and developing and reviewing solution architecture and functional specifications.

· Providing solutions-oriented brainstorming, technical research, and information architecture recommendations and documents.

· Continually conducting industry research and maintaining a repository of creative technical solutions.

· Working on pitches and proactively recommending interactive new business opportunities to the brand teams.

· Multitasking and managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and maintaining deadlines and timelines.

· Supervising staff and playing an active role in the planning and execution of all flash development activities across multiple pieces of business.

· Working directly with Project Managers to communicate and update information as necessary with regards to schedules, budgeting and revisions.

· Motivating staff to ensure a high level of performance and taking responsibility for the quality of work of their staff.

· Consulting with art directors to ensure web constraints are followed with regards to interface design.

· Mentoring and training Art Directors on flash and interactive capabilities.

Qualifications include:

· 5+ years of experience as a lead developer of interactive projects.

· Expert knowledge of Flash, Flash Video Encoder and ActionScript 2.0 (ActionScript 3.0 is a plus).

· Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Director and Lingo.

· Experience with Video and Audio Compression as well as experience with a video editor such as Finalcut Pro or Adobe Premier.

· Experience with DVD Studio Pro or similar.

· Proven ability to lead technical projects and technical teams.

· The ability to balance the demands of your own projects with the needs of the staff that you manage.

· Mastery of all presentation skills—confident presenting to new clients and large audiences.

· Skilled at offering solutions on the fly.

· Self motivated to explore new technologies and programs.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· College Graduate preferred.
