Civil/Structural Internship

Job Description:
Seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering student to work on an internship/co-op basis in our Fort Mill, South Carolina office for the approximate periods from May 2009 through December 2009 or January 2010 through August 2010. The successful candidate will work in our Transmission and Distribution Division, learning to design overhead transmission line and substation structures, foundations, and their related facilities. The candidate should be working toward a BSCE with coursework including structural analysis, concrete, steel, soils, foundations, surveying, grading and drainage. The ideal candidate is interested in consulting engineering and the electric utility industry. Minimum GPA of 2.5 is desired.
