We are seeking a professional and experienced Sales Consultant / Engineer who will help close business by providing the functional and technical expertise in support of the sale of Noetix products and implementation services. You can be based anywhere in the US and office from home when you are not traveling.

Core Deliverables and Responsibilities:

As a Sales Consultant you will work closely with the Regional Sales Managers and Account Executives, providing the functional and technical expertise in support of the sale of Noetix products and implementation services. You will analyze customer reporting requirements and develop solution mockups and demonstrations that reflect how the Noetix products will work in their environment. You will make presentations on all aspects of our products, provide functional and/or technical overviews, and perform follow-up support to the customers and business partners to ensure a consistent high level of satisfaction. You will manage strategic deals and be responsible for coordinating multiple resources in the sales process. You will manage Proofs of Concepts as needed. In addition, you will provide feedback to product marketing and engineering on product features requested by clients and partners.

Position Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software pre-sales experience, preferably in the Oracle ERP Applications
  • 3+ years of experience working with the Oracle eBusiness Suite
  • 2+ years of experience working Strategic Account Sales
  • Knowledge and experience with Query and Reporting tools such as Discoverer, BusinessObjects, Cognos, OBIEE, Informatica and Data warehousing a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of reporting strategies, tools, and applications for enterprise-wide deployment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Positive interpersonal skills working in a team selling environment

Education / Training / Certification:

Bachelor’s degree or related field and/or equivalent work experience in software sales preferred
