Human Resources:

Raytheon IIS Human Resources is responsible for the development of HR priorities in direct alignment with business strategy, working in partnership with business leaders as a coach and architect of change. HR is a mission-critical partner that is an effective ambassador of change, creating a work culture that attracts and retains key talent and provides solutions for our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities & Required Skills:

Customer-service support role with an ability to effectively and efficiently perform a wide variety of personnel and clerical tasks in support of the Talent Acquisition team in areas such as:

- Supporting full life cycle recruiters in a fast-paced environment

- Providing process improvement suggestions as needed in the overall administrative function

- Taking direction from multiple sources and having the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

E-mail/written/verbal communication:

Exemplary written communication skills . Preparing employment offer correspondence for new hires to include drug screening information. Entering applicant flow into ATS, Also includes preparation of presentations as requested. Processing new hire and transfer transactions in HRIS database, perferably Peoplesoft. Facilitating new hire orientation. Serving as the point of contact for new hires answering Raytheon related questions prior to orientation.



Appointments/Meetings:

Maintain calendar; prepare agenda, arrange meeting facilities. Coordinating career fairs and open houses.



Travel:

Arrange travel through company agents, prepare itinerary, maintain trip files, and prepare/ process expense reports in a timely manner.




Minimum Candidate Qualifications:


- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of direct experience in administrative support in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency with: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Scheduling/Maintaining calendars
- Ability to work seamlessly with the IIS Talent Acqusition team and at all levels of the organization and possess a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise judgment
- Must be a self-starter, able to work autonomously and able to operate with minimal supervision in a highly visible, high pressure environment
- Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills both oral and written (i.e. grammar, spelling, punctuation)
- Ability to organize resources and establish priorities
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, perferrably Kenexa

Required Education:
- High School Diploma and 8 years of relevant experience

Desired experience, Knowledge and Education:
- Knowledge of media relations, marketing communications, electronic communications, communications planning, journalism principles and practices.
- Broad familiarity with customer and company structure.
- Lotus Notes, TravelSmart, WebTE
- Experience in working in a Fortune 500 company and/or a major defense contractor
