Customer Service Manager: CENTRAL VIRGINIA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE

Central Virginia Electric Cooperative is currently recruiting for the following position: CUSTOMER SERVICES MANAGER - COLLEEN This position is a departmental level management position responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and managing customer and billing service activities in order to provide efficient and reliable service to Member/consumers and to promote the Cooperative's interests and purposes following established Central Virginia Electric Cooperative guidelines. Qualified applicants shall have a bachelor's degree in a business or technical field and 15 years of related experience. Experience should include responsible administrative, supervisory and/or management positions in directing and developing personnel; planning; developing reports and ideas; organizing and coordinating activities; and measuring program results. The successful candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills and must work well in a team environment. Typical Salary Range: $26.43 - $32.74 Central Virginia Electric Cooperative is an innovative, progressive, growing utility with 35,000 electric customers, 29 substations, 4,440 miles of line, serving customers in 14 central Virginia Counties with 115 employees. The headquarters office is located near Lovingston, Virginia, east of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains with division offices located in Appomattox and Palmyra, Virginia. Most of the service area is rural with pockets of significant residential and commercial growth. The area provides a rural setting with convenient access to shopping, entertainment, and major universities in Charlottesville, Lynchburg, and Richmond.
