The Account Manager for Iraq will manage the on going business relationship with key strategic customers and continue to win product and services business valued at 10M$ to 40M$ per annum with assigned customers. This will involve selling all export products including new RF communication products such as SPR, HCDR, HCLOS and Sensors. The yearly targets will span all verticals, and the focus will be breaking into new-name customers and managing these accounts to generate significant sales across a short to medium-term cycle.
The position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Annual regional targets
- Maintaining existing customer relationships
- Developing new opportunities for RFCD
- Developing new International Government Systems opportunities
- Developing new customers within the territory
- Maintaining and manage dealer performance
- Identifying and recruiting new dealers for the region
- Ensure that all working practices comply with Health and Safety legislation. T
- The account manager will also be expected to develop and maintain key relationships with: Line Managers, Sales Support, EMEA Sales Team, Product Service, Field Engineering, Manufacturing
- Security and Export Control and with all other RFCD management as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelors degree in a technical or business field required
- Eight plus years experience in sales in the communications field
- Minimum of 5 years in selling defense communications products internationally
- International travel experience
- Eight plus years experience of working with communications products
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively internationally
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Military Communications background
- Government / Public Services Communications background
- Proven expertise in selling defense communications products internationally
- Proven sales professional who have successfully sold other technical products to the international defense community
- Record of achieving complex sales into intelligent / informed customer environment
- Knowledge of network centric communications
