Responsibilities: Organizes, over sees, plans, develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates all aspects of the surgical service line in the region. This position supports facility operations directing appropriate standardization of evidence based practices as well as identifying and recommending strategies for fulfillment of opportunities. Responsible for the Western Region perioperative service line involving multiple facilities Internal interactions include all levels of management across the region External interactions include, but are not limited to, physician groups, community agencies and/or external partners (where applicable)
Qualifications: Must be eligible for or hold a current state license to practice nursing in base state Advanced degree required or in process Either BSN or advanced degree must be in a nursing field Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Operating Room nursing, and leadership competency typically achieved through a minimum of five(5) years progressively responsible positions of perioperative leadership, preferably in a medium to large multispecialty environment and ideally in small facilities as well A top candidate will have experience with leadership over multiple sites
