Construction Manager

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond

Manage our staff members in construction, millwork, and HVAC, creating project charters, schedules, budgets, work breakdown structures, status reports, cost estimates, and schedules for new construction, renovations, and maintenance projects. Lead project meetings and communicate with stakeholders including upper management, outside contractors, vendors, and internal staff. Assist with RFP processes for repairs, alterations, installations, and construction projects for all departments.

Requirements: HS diploma, college preferred 3-5+ years supervisory/foreman experience in building construction. Project management experience within construction industry. Strong PC skills to include e-mail and MS applications. Solid relationship management skills with clients and vendors. Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and journals with understanding of local and regional building codes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Physical examination and extensive background check.
