  • Job Summary: The Orthotics and Prosthetics Clinician provides patient medical care by following the written orders of a physician for Orthotic & Prosthetic treatment or device application, utilizes non-certified staff, assists in the fabrication of O&P devices, mentors students and O&P residents, documents per JCAHO, CARF, ABC, and third-party payor requirements, submits accurate and timely billing, is knowledgeable about revenue cycle, attends clinics and provides in-services, and performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: BS/BA degree or higher. Must have education in both disciplines of Orthotics and Prosthetics. 5 years experience in providing Orthotic and Prosthetic patient care. Must have current certification from the American Board of Certification for Orthotics, Prosthetics, & pedorthics (ABC). CCS paneling preferred. Knowledge in materials, supplies, patient care and tools. Excellent management skills and works well with others. Leadership skills, proficient understanding of biomechanical principles, anatomy, observational gait analysis, pathologies, and fabrication techniques. Able to lift up to 50lbs to the waist.
