Osceola Regional Medical Center is a JCAHO-accredited 235-bed hospital that builds on a proud tradition of healthcare excellence in Osceola County. The hospital features all private patient rooms and we are the only hospital in the County to provide Level II Neonatal services and an Open Heart Program. We are proudly recognized for our Certified Stroke Center and Certified Chest Pain Center. Enhancing our superior services are such advanced technologies as:
· The MUSE Cardiology Information System of digitized EKG tracings
· The PACS system of electronic storage of CT scans, X-rays, MRI and PET scans

Desirable Qualifications: Florida licensed RN with minimum of 3 years of director level management experience in a acute hospital case management department (UR/DP). Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and sense of commitment to patients, the hospital, the departments and the community.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge Abilities and Licensing:

o Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred
o Current Florida RN license
o Three years management experience with utilization management and discharge planning
o Knowledge of / experience with performance improvement activity
o Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing health plans - with extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal and CMRI
o Knowledge of managed care and capitation
o Computer skills (minimally Word and basic Excel)
o Strong /effective verbal and written communication skills
