This Senior Leadership Position directs the strategic development, growth and operations of the Nebraska health plan. Overall goals of this position are to meet revenue, membership and operating income objectives, develop key provider affiliations, establish an influential relationship with the state of Nebraska, direct and effectively develop strategic goals into specific business plans, and create a successful, collaborative team of people to achieve these goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with an advanced degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years progressive, high impact, management experience in managed care, public/government programs (Medicaid/Medicare) environment
- Previous leadership position in a managed care company, public program or organization serving government entities
- Appreciation for the individuals served by state and public healthcare programs
- Strong financial acumen, in particular experience managing a profit-and-loss program or a significant non-profit budget
- Ability to successfully work in a matrix management environment, with a proven track record of building and maintaining effective internal partnerships that lead to external client satisfaction
- Ability to lead and motivate people to achieve agreed-upon results, with a focus on driving disciplined, fact-based decisions and executing with discipline and urgency
- Strong strategic thinking capacity and effective communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple accountabilities and organizational change
