Job Description

Working from our Corporate office and reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Marketing Manager will have responsibility for independently managing Corporate marketing, advertising and communications, through planning, development, coordination and implementation of all marketing programs.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Manage marketing and advertising budget
- Manage marketing initiatives including branding and strategic corporate messaging
- Reponsible for maintaining and updating content of Corporation web site
- Maintain search engine optimization, key words, and metatags for website
- Create marketing materials for all business segments as needed or required
- Manage marketing collateral and promotional inventory
- Create press releases and find press opportunities via print or online industry publications
- Provide support for ad hoc Marketing projects from all Cambrex sites or Corporate departments as needed

Job Qualifications

- Four year degree required in marketing, public relations, or technical field. Technical background in Chemistry beneficial
- 5 or more years of experience in sales and marketing. Pharmaceutical industry experience beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, preferrably Microsoft Office, Publisher, HTML, etc.
- Proven success in managing and implementing multiple projects on time and within budget
- Proven success in working collaboratively with international colleagues
- Ability or experience with working independently with off-site supervision
