LEED Mechanical Engineer: Thielsch Engineering

Gaskell Associates is a consulting engineering firm which specializes in the design of electrical systems for building. These systems generally consist of; power distribution, data centers & computer rooms, fire alarm, lighting, security systems, emergency power systems (diesel and natural gas generators), power quality studies, uninterruptible power supplies, lightening protection systems, and alternative energy (solar and wind). Our engineers consult with building owners and architects to understand the needs of the project, and then design the electrical systems to meet those needs.

Gaskell Associates is currently seeking a LEED Mechanical Engineer. This position requires overseeing all mechanical design work, and working together with electrical and plumbing & fire protection groups to produce best in class building system design. Design work will be primarily HVAC and likely to include some alternative energy design and study work as well.

Qualifications

- 10+ years designing HVAC systems for buildings including; hospitals, schools, and housing authorities

- Must be able to demonstrate success working in a collaborative manner on larger projects

- Energetic and motivated problem solver

- LEED AP accreditation and alternative energy experience a plus

Education

BS in Mechanical Engineering required, PE certification preferred.

Language Skills

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
