Student Loan Portfolio - Credit Analyst: Fusion Staffing Partners

Position Duties:

· Prepare independent credit applications indentifying risks, strengths and provide recommendations to credit committee

· Analyze internal and external factors impacting counterparty’s and credit structure when making a recommendation

· Develop expert knowledge of the industry sectors where credit is being considered

· Monitor ongoing counterparty performance and implement/recommend appropriate course of action where needed

· Develop expert knowledge of ratings models

· Ensure ratings models are in line with bank and regulatory policies, procedures and requirements

· Stay abreast of industry trends, global economic conditions and developing accounting issues

· Mentor , support and share best practices with junior team members as required

· Manage customer relationships and support functions

Position Requirements:

· Bachelors Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business

· 5+ years related credit analysis experience

· Experience analyzing student loan credits/portfolios preferred

· Strong accounting and quantitative skills

· Experience understanding and interpreting complex financial statements

· Superior PC skills, particularly with Excel

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
