Job Description
Driving the execution and operation of GSS NA (Global Shared Services North America) Accounting and Finance initiatives for the Tax Compliance services. Provide support to Siemens Operating Companies management and employees for tax related issues. Provides effective control and compliance environment - including and not limited to SOX 404 controls, anti-corruption controls and internal Siemens compliance requirements. Develop service line roadmaps to Identify ways to further reduce cost and improve quality through technology, productivity or scale. Partner with outsource suppliers to deliver agreed to service level targets, to identify areas of opportunities for process improvement and to implement solutions which reduce cost and improve quality of processing transactions. Provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries within SLA agreed upon targets. Direct and develop employees to effectively meet or exceed SLA requirements and customer expectations. Provide a high performance culture where employees are fully challenged, recognized and rewarded, and one in which employees are encouraged to cooperate to deliver excellent results in a friendly, professional setting.
Qualifications:
-Five or more years of financial management experience specializing in audit or tax in corporate setting
-Extensive understanding of state and local taxation
-3 plus years managing a small team, required
-Understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles
-Ability to proficiently use Windows Applications
-Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
-Exemplary customer service, teamwork, quality and change orientation skills.
-CPA, CMI or MBA preferred
-Knowledge of Siemens business and organization preferred.
