Description:

Perform analytic work which informs high-level decisions through professional gaming. Applicant is expected to perform as lead designer developing concepts, mechanics and methodologies while directing the actions of programmers, engineers and analysts. Successful candidate must have an ability to identify and analyze problems as well as design effective and achievable solutions. This position requires a combination of technical and creative talent.
Manage game / event design documentation. Create, document and communicate game design features. Develop data structures, tables and elements for organization. Design entities such as characters, terrain and scenario events designed to elicit appropriate responses to data collection efforts.
Perform as project manager and technical lead for design/development of collaborative analysis exercises such as identification of new system and operational requirements, development of new concepts, or evaluation alternative solutions. Lead a development team of 3-4 individuals to ensure products are developed correctly and on time.

Qualifications:

Required:
B.S. or equivalent in Operations Research, Engineering or a related scientific/technical discipline with significant experience performing quantitative/qualitative analysis.
7-10 years experience in DoD or U.S. government operational/strategic operations.
Ability to articulate complex issues to senior decision makers.
Solid grasp of National Security issues.
Experience developing technical briefings and academic papers, and managing tasks. Collaborative inter-personal skills.
Mathematical/statistical assessment experience with exposure to software such as SAS, S+ or Matlab.
Up to 25% travel.
Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship. Future needs may require the ability to be eligible for DOD clearance requiring background investigation and/or Polygraph examination. Preference would be for current SSBI.

Desired:
M.S. or M.A. in operations research, engineering, computer science, national security studies, or public policy.
Business acumen and demonstrated leadership in collaborative endeavors that encompass multiple technical disciplines.
Experience in serious professional gaming, homeland security, intelligence analysis or previous military service.
