Hamilton Long Term Care has an exciting opportunity for someone to fill the position of FINANCIAL CONTROLLER. This is a full-time position.

Examples of Duties Performed:

· Responsible for the overall business and accounting activities of a long-term care nursing center in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and center guidelines.

· Maintains accurate patient census information; interprets and analyzes financial data and identifies trends; assists with financial plan preparation.

· Communicates with patients, responsible parties, insurance companies, and government agencies regarding the collection of outstanding receivables.

· Oversees and directs center’s accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fund accounts activities for compliance.

To be considered for this opportunity applicants must:

  • Have working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing and follow-up procedures.
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Embrace the standards, values, and beliefs of the organization.
  • Be capable of maintaining effective working relationships with residents, family members, staff and fellow department heads.
