MARKETING MANAGER
Our expanding Events Division is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating marketing and communications strategies for events to meet organizational objectives. Will also analyze market, competitor and customer data to maximize all efforts for new and existing events, build budgets and reconcile overall results post-event.
Responsibilities:
· Identify, develop and evaluate marketing strategy to meet objectives for events
· Establish integrated marketing plans to promote products and services
· Develop efficient marketing budgets delivering new customers and growing revenues per customer
· Coordinate and implement all marketing communications campaigns according to schedule and budget. Marketing plans may include:
o Advertising (print, email, online)
o Direct Mail
o E-mail/E-newsletters (HTML)
o Web site launch and management
o General Collateral
o SEO, SEM
o Paid search
o Public Relations and Media
o Social Media Marketing
o Viral Campaigns
· Oversee all aspects of web site development as related to promotion of events
· Work with creative team to develop compelling brand identities and promotions
· Deliver timely and favorable media coverage throughout promotion cycle
· Manage marketing service providers
· Manage customer lists
· Develop strategic marketing partnerships to drive sales to new customers while managing costs
· Initiate market research studies, pre & post-event surveys; analyze results
Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of consumer event marketing experience
· Proven ability to plan communication strategy and profitably market events
· Strong understanding of customer and market requirements
· Well-developed online marketing knowledge base and skills
· Experience negotiating and purchasing all forms of media
· Willingness and ability to travel
· Experience marketing through traditional and non-traditional media
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal
· Proven competence fostering innovation
