Secretary The Village of Peoria Heights, Illinois is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrative Secretary. Under the general supervision of the Mayor and Village Administrator, the Administrative Secretary assists with research and questions pertaining to violations, ordinances, agreements, and other information required for the smooth operation of the Village. Assists with grant writing, ordinance writing, personnel resolutions, budget calculations and preparation of the tax levy. Coordinates annual renewal of all liquor and amusement licenses. Prepares and posts all Departmental and Board of Trustees agenda meetings and prepares all material packets for each member. Serves as Webmaster for the Village. This is a full-time salaried position with excellent benefits. Residency is required within one year of employment.
