Front-end Engineer for Music Startup



Front-end Engineer

We’re looking for talented engineers to create new features for our music site using PHP, CSS and JavaScript. You’ll create innovative user experiences that allow our millions of music fans to discover, experience and share music in exciting new ways. We have a strong focus on usability and we are looking for people passionate about creating compelling and elegant experiences for its users.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop groundbreaking new music features on our site
- Work with product managers and interaction designers to brainstorm and launch new feature concepts
- Develop JavaScript and CSS frameworks that other engineers can reuse

Requirements:
- Experience implementing standards-compliant, cross browser PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Strong object oriented JavaScript skills
- Strong working knowledge of using Ajax to build user interfaces
- Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and/or Prototype a plus
- Experience with high-volume (1MM+ daily page views) sites a plus
- BS/MS computer science or equivalent degree or experience
- Love music!
