Position Description: Title/Position Summary: The Editor of Reporting and Assessment will be responsible for overseeing the editorial and instructional content associated with the two components of the new Scholastic Math Program. This Editor will also participate in defining and overseeing the efficacy study. Responsibilities: - Work with the Executive Editor and Executive Producer to develop and maintain a plan and schedule for the development of the designated portion of the program - Write the assessment plan - Work with other functional teams to incorporate informal and formal assessment into program - Collaborate with production and engineering to develop wireframes and specifications associated with the reports - Review and edit assessment items - Manage writers, manage contracts and budget for the designated portion of the program - Work with design and engineering to oversee development of program component - Write test plans, with the support from the QA team - Establish goals and deadlines to meet project schedule - Take a hands-on approach to ensure completion of all project deliverables Qualifications: Qualifications: - Master's degree or equivalent experience - Extensive knowledge of data handling/manipulation - Extensive knowledge of assessment - User interface design - Understanding of database structure, design and restrictions a plus - Capable of learning new processes and technologies quickly - Excellent attention to detail, process and organization Apply Only at : Scholastic
