UMM LABS ADMINISTRATION

Flex Job Description:

Collects blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary from patients. Perform EKG, pulse oximetry, and point-of-care testing on inpatients and outpatients as required.

Job Requirements:

High School graduate with successful completion from a recognized program for training in phlebotomy or prior documented experience perform phlebotomies. Basic life support certification required within 3 months of employment and maintenance of annual competencies in BLS.

LOCATION:  Mobile-, OR OTHER SITES AS ASSIGNED.  May be scheduled to work weekends, holidays & on call as needed.  Reliable & able to work independently with minimal supervision / required.  POCT skill perferred.  Demonstrates professionalism when dealing with patients, physicians, and coworkers / Required.  Basic cuputer skills desired.  Valid Drivers Licensure Required.
