Job Description:




Associate Creative Director (ACD)





Job Summary:

The ACD is responsible for leading the Ketchum Digital creative teams in the development of visual design, user experience, brand identity, and content development for print, Web, video and other multimedia solutions. Reporting to the Director, Operations and Creative Development and working to support the Creative Director. The ACD guides creative development and execution of content solutions from concept to completion. Where appropriate, an Associate Creative Director may be the sole creative lead on an assignment.



The ACD must possess strong business acumen, and an expertise in developing integrated solutions for multiple content channels with concentration in interactive/web based experiences.



Responsibilities include:


  • Lead multiple project teams in all aspects of creative development including planning and estimating highly complex projects

  • Coordinate with account teams to interpret client needs in a coherent and constructive format for the creative development of the project

  • Understand target audience requirements and translate to team actions that enhance development of creative approaches and solutions

  • Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively

  • Prepare documentation describing how message architecture, concept, and design reflect the outlined communication strategy and audience(s)

  • Lead designers, art directors, writers producers and interactive developers in order to meet project expectations creating high value, creative user experiences

  • Communicate with web producers, information architects, and developers to coordinate Web site strategy, creative execution, UI design, and navigational systems as they pertain to Web functional specifications

  • Maintaining consistent brand identities across all media

  • Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables

  • Ability to manage staff and determine appropriate coordination needs for freelance and other consultant needs

  • Advanced knowledge of design software and online/Web 2.0 trends

  • Collaborate with account teams to create and develop new business opportunities

  • Ability to develop high-end business development presentations which includes; concept, writing and creative execution

  • Ability to independently conceptualize and design content solutions

  • Mentor and inspire creative staff



Requirements:


  • Minimum of 7 years experience working on content development for print, Web, video and other multimedia solutions

  • Remain up-to-date with current and emerging trends and web development technologies

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, on time and within budget

  • Team-oriented and have a collaborative approach to creative development

  • Strong client management skills with the ability to articulate and present conceptual ideas effectively

  • Strong writing and presentation skills
