Sales Trainer – Companion Animal - ElancoWithin the Global Marketing and Sales Group for Companion Animals for Elanco Animal Health, the purpose of the position is to drive the creation and execution of sales training and business operations support. This will include training of Elanco Companion Animal field sales and channel partners, analyzing business operations, and CRM implementation.
KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:
- Execute training programs with Elanco CAH and distributors throughout the year. This would include but not be limited to meetings, special training events, product launches.
- Assist in new hire training of field sales reps, inside sales reps, and distributor partners.
- Execute Elanco CAH field training activities as needed and identified.
- Develop sales training materials to be used with Elanco CAH and distributor partners. This would include new product materials as well as existing product materials.
- Execute certain Elanco CAH business processes, especially those related to training and development of CAH personnel.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 3 years experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or similar experience.
- In-depth knowledge of companion animal veterinary products.
- In-depth knowledge of the Companion Animal Market and products available.
- Relocation to Indianapolis is required. Office is located in Greenfield, IN.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
- Advanced degree in business or work experience as sales trainer are both positives attributes.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
- Travel: Approximately 30% initially, likely increasing upon product launches. May include very limited international travel.
