Position Description:
Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value
- Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Solves moderately complex problems and or conducts moderately complex analyses
- Translate concepts into practice
- Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues
- Coach, provide feedback and guide others
- Act as a resource for others with less experience
- Product and Regulatory Knowledge:
- EDI ANSI HIPAA
- Trizetto HIPAA Gateway
- IBM WTX or Mercator
- Some FACETS or any Payer system knowledge
- Technical Knowledge:
- VB or Java Scripting
- PL/SQL
- XML
- ASP
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5+ years EDI ANSI HIPAA transaction experience
- 5+ years IBM WTX or Mercator experience
- 3+ years VB scripting experience
- 3+ years PL/SQL
- 24 X 7 on call (on a rotating basis)
Assets:
- Trizetto HIPAA Gateway
- FACETS or any Payer system knowledge
- Java Scripting
- XML
- ASP
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
