Co-op, Endoscopy R&D
Description
We are currently seeking a Co-op in our Endoscopy R&D Advanced Stenting group for the Spring 2009 term (Jan. 5, 2009 through June 26, 2009) to assist with the new development on our Next Generation Stent. This stent is a self-expanding braided stent delivered through a complex co-axial delivery system. This project is in the very early stages of development which will require evaluation of product designs, testing, prototyping and vendor selection. This position is located in our Marlborough, MA facility.
Requirements:
• CAD experience preferably Solidworks or ability to learn
• Hands on with an inventive/technical personality
• Strong Problem Solver
• Ability to follow written protocols & recognize unexpected deviations
• Ability to critically review and write technical reports based on lab data and observations
• Stats/DOE experience or ability to learn
• May require international travel to our Galway Ireland manufacturing facility
